RIPOFF ALERT:

This is how it works.

Book a trip on Travelzoo / $88 a night for a Fallsview Room & Wine Tasting Passes / $30 off on Dinning.

Receive 2 confirmations & call the hotel to verify that you are confirmed !

Travel 3000 miles and then be told prior to check in your reservation has been canceled !

They tell you they just canceled your reservation right before you step up to check in.

For us, that was 3:45 pm with check in to be 4:00 pm.

SCAMMERS: They then tell you they will not honor your Travelzoo reservation, even IF you have 2 conformations from the hotel and with me, I even called the hotel to verify !

What they will do, is SELL you a cityview room for $149. Almost double then your package and no view of the Falls AND NO PACKAGE !

Best of all, they will treat you like CRAP while they are doing this to you !

For us: It was suppose to be my girlfriends 63rd birthday trip. She wanted to do a BUCKET LIST trip for her birthday. She is a grandmother of 4, 22 years retired kindergarten teacher and a breast cancer survior.  So BUCKET LIST trips are extremely important to us, as they should be to anyone !    

The MANAGER / CESARE left her in TEARS at the front desk !

As I started to research this SCAM, I found that they have done this to so many others or they tell them they can pay for upgrade so they can better see the FALLS.

At first I thought we were an isolated incident and thought really does EMBASSY SUITES NIAGARA FALLS / HILTON WORLDWIDE need the extra $200 bucks they were trying to SCAM from us ? 

Then I started to read the TRIPADVISOR reviews and saw they been doing this for years. I started to do the math. If they do this to 250 guests a day and they only try to RIP YOU OFF of $40 per, that's $10,000.00 a day,or $3,650,000.00 a year ! 

I did contact HILTON WORLDWIDE, Mr. Joe Berger EXECUTIVE V.P. and they are giving us 2 $100 amex cards for our trouble, not bad for a company that is worth more then 2.35 BILLION DOLLARS ! ! !

I was told that the hotel would contact me within 72 hours, It's been 2 weeks since I've been home and no one from EMBASSY SUITES NIAGARA FALLS has contacted me.

I do want to thank Ms. Alice Maxwell for her 7:00am telephone call this morning, waking me on the one day of the week I get to sleep in and not calling me back in 2 hours as she said she would.

 

PLEASE READ ADDITIONAL REVIEWS (OVER A 1000 NEGATIVE) ON TRIPADVISOR SEE HOW THEY "WITH ZERO HEART" ................. WILL  RIPOFF THEIR GUESTS ! ! !
