The same thing has happened to me. I call the toll free number and tell them the date the letter was mailed. I tell them I took the letter to the counter and saw the date postmarked on the envelope. They change the status and process the rebate.

You have no complaint toward Circuit City from what I can tell. Maybe I missed something but it seems to me as if you are acutally quite satisfied with the fact that you got the CCITY rebate.
