Was very elated to receive notice that I could receive a computer of my choice after this settlement. HA!
At their website they offered only laptops and desktops while labelling Accessories and netpads as "NONE AVAILABLE. Lousy selection. Their offer of cash instead of one of these machines (which do not include monitors) was a measly $62.50!!! Really shows what the real cost to them is doesn't it? Meanwhile they price them over $300.00!! RIPOFF!!!

I got my voucher on Monday and was able to order A New Gateway desktop. Mine cost 364.99. It was a AMD Phenom II 6-core processor at 2.9mhz, 1T hard drive, 8G ram. I ordered it same day I got the voucher and received it Friday by UPS. You have to be Patient, keep checking the website and grab you when you see a good computer you want. This settlement was only for a defective floppy disk drive in an e-machine you owned, consider yourself lucky you got a 365.00 voucher you will eventually use for FREE stuff. All of us used our e-machines until we replaced theOran's sold/salvaged them for parts. I never used the floppy drive so ire really didn't effect my enjoyment of the computer anyway. Had the drive failed and I needed it, I would have paid the 19.00 bucks a quality floppy drive cost.

After reading the rebuttal I went to the website again and it appears that now those of us who are offere this settlement are not just getting screwed but now (to be up to date newswise) WE ARE GETTING ROYALLY screwed. Only laptops offered now are two for over $1,000!!!!! How do they get away with this??? Are they trying to get off by forcing us that haven't acted like those who sleep in front of the store overnight in order to get a deal when the store open in the morning when the BIG sales are offered. Will I, in the end, be forced to accept the cash value of their products -$62.50???? WOW! what a RIPOFF THIS HAS TURNED OUT TO BE. DEAL MUST HAVE NEGOTIATED BY MY DIVORCE LAWYER (REALLY GOT ME UNJUSTLY PUNISHED BY A SUPER LIBERAL JUDGE)
I'm going to see if I can find some way to ask for an investigation by the court to the way this RIPOFF is being perpetrated.

It is true that the website has very poor choice now. I got my certificate in the mail last Saturday and immediately went to redeem it. At that time there were 26 desktop PC choices and over 30 laptop choices. I ordered a Gateway desktop DX4860-UR28 Intel i5 NEW in box for $349 of my $365 certificate and shipping was free. It arrived today and is real! The model I ordered is not listed on the site any longer.
