Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Wow...this guy had me going!!  I was totally skeptical at first.  He dragged this out for five days.  Even gave me a call back number (707-637-2086) and answered it!  I should've known when he only answered the phone with his name.  No company name in his greeting.

I consider myself a pretty educated person. Paying attention when they talk about scams, etc.  But this guy was good!!!

Mr. Logan had a hispanic-type accent (but could have been Indian because he said 'ok, ok, ok) and spoke very nicely and calmly.  He had my name, address, phone, etc.  Told me I won $750,000 and a 50" TV.  Said I had to wait an extra day for my delivery because they were delivering to someone else today. He went on and on about how I would could have a public or private delivery, that security people would accompany the delivery, the main woman delivering, Ingaborg Lay, would accompany to my bank to deposit the money to ensure my safety, that a person from Bank of America would be present to confirm with my bank the check was legitimate.  He explained that the government, PCH and Reader's Digest had it all worked out that I only had to pay 5% taxes after I got the money.

Then the ball dropped....he said I had to first send them 1% of the taxes, $1491.00, via money order, then have the receipt number and my ID in order to get my delivery.  But once I got my delivery, Ingaborg would reimburse me for the 1%.  After that, I have 48 hours to send the other 4% of the taxes, but could send that out of my winnings.

He even told me that I didn't have to do it (send the money).  I could tell them the name of my favorite charity and the charity would send me a nice thank you note!!

Mr. Logan went on to explain that this was a great deal of money and that I should not quit my job right away, take some time to decide what i wanted to do.  He also said to just be regular at work not say anything.  Suspicion was starting to build.  But, of course, I had $ in my eyes.  I told my husband that I thought this was the real deal, that maybe he better come home.  As soon as he heard the 'send money' part, he slammed on the brakes and said 'NO'.  "You never have to send money to win a prize!!"

He gave me a couple hours to get my money, send it and call back with the receipt number.  Instead I went out to the web and started looking up the names and numbers, etc that he had given me.  Sure enough, on the PCH website, it says they won't ask for money and they won't call you.  They just show up....If you are not home, they will find you!  This website even describes similar situations.

How depressing!  Like many people, I thought maybe it was my turn to win big!!!!  NOPE!  I was scammed and made it through by the skin of my teeth!!

So whatever you do, or think, if they ask for money up front, just don't do it!!!   DON'T DO IT!!!

You're being scammed and will really lose if you send so much as a penny!!!!

I hope my message will save someone from making this mistake!!  As other postings here helped to save me!!  Thank you!!!
