Complaint Review: Elite Moving & Storage - Las Vegas Nevada

It starts out with Suzie coming to your home, telling you lies about other companies trying to rip you off and how Elite would never do that, acting like your best friend while giving you what she calls a "binding" estimate, which is to ensure your price. The day of the move, workers show up and begin to toss all your belongings in boxes like it was garbage packing canned goods with fragile items, not marking any boxes etc. All the while, Yanni is grabbing you to fill out paperwork and raise the price, explaining Suzie made a mistake. You try to supervise the packers, but Yanni keeps grabbing you away. If you hate your belongings, want to buy all new things, use Elite! the "manager" Roy is even less helpful, even rude at times, telling you "moving is stressful". Needless to say, Elite did exactly what they claimed other companies would do, raised the price regardless of a binding estimate. They also left items unpacked, full cabinets of dishes, toiletries etc.

After this nightmare, the real nightmare begins! I was told my delivery across country would be in a few days, that 2 drivers were being used, so there would be little to no stops, "downtime". I waited over 19 days for my belongings! I called every day and when I asked where my things were and when I would be getting delivery, Roy would tell me "I don't know". "When we gwet a truck" So apparantly, your belongings are loaded, then taken to an unknown location and dumped until they can figure a way to get them to you.....all without your consent or knowledge!

When my things finally arrived, at 9pm I was horrified. Many items were missing, mirrors to dressers, boxes of clothing, kitchen items etc. As for what items managed to make it, there was so much damage. Cameras and video equipment was packed with no protection in boxes with liquid laundry detergent which spilled all over, canned goods with fragile items so all fragile items were ruined, furniture was chipped, broken, missing pieces. The hardware to put my bed together was completly lost. The workers do not help in any way, leave garbage all over, toss garbage in your yard etc.....As with packing, they seem only interested in speed and getting it done, not quality, not care.....just total disregard for your belongings.

I had a dog put down the day before my move, his ashes were on top of my bedroom dresser with a collar, leash etc.....to this day I have no idea where they put my beloved dogs ashes. They were not in any box.

I have broken furniture, lost items, ruined electronics

When you call to complain, Roy will tell you "oh well, you got your stuff right?"

Once they have your money, you are screwed!

I contacted the DOT.this company has many complaints against them for overcharging failure to deliver, hostage claims, and endless claims of damage.

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING CO It is by far, the most unprofessional, unreliable company I have ever dealt with in my life.

If you value your home and it's belongings, use anyone but Elite!
