I went here quite often. I had laser hair removal on my face and juvaderm in my upper lip. Sharon McDonough did the lip (I did it twice, once a year). It was painful, and I took Advil which made the whole lip bruise. She failed to mention that I should NOT take advil, but okay then - lesson learned. Sharon also did my laser hair, I would go about once a month and was hoping to be done with the treatments asap.
Now here's the downside - I went for my usual laser treatment and the machine was apparently on too high of an intensity setting. The laser literally burned my face. It looked like someone took a cigarette lighter to my face. It was painful, disgusting, and embarrassing. Worst of all, Sharon didn't seem to care in the slightest. She gave me ice and pretty much left for me to check out up front. When i got home, the burn literally bubbled and oozed out my face. I called the next day and spoke to whoever answered and said what should I do? I have this painful, hard to look at burn on my freaking face. She said I dunno - I said should I go to the doctor?- she said, if you want. Her excuse was that it was summer and the machine must have gotten overheated. BS. It was on the wrong setting. Something clearly too powerful for someone's face. Avoidable mistake. And now I was paying. The burn took weeks to heal. I did go the urgent care and got silvadene for my burn.
When I did eventually go back for a diff treatment, Sharon was pretty cold to me. As if I had done something wrong by calling and asking what I should do? The attitude was disgusting and no apology was ever given to me. Didn't even mention it. I guess that would have been an admission of guilt in her eyes if she apologized.
Needless to say, I never went again. And if you want to risk a disgusting burn from laser - feel free to give their place a try.
BTW I also had a microderm done there. The lady pretty much insulted my skin.. made me uncomfortable and I never did that again. I also called to cancel the first appt. I had for it. And when I came in for my reschedule - they accused of being a no show. I said "no I called and cancelled, hence this rescheduled date". She said well we have you as a no show. So that was pretty annoying as well.
Heres the worst part. I Googled "Sharon MCDonough" and found a link that shows she was arrested for PET TORTURE!
I AM DISGUSTED WITH SHARON MCDONOUGH!
I SUPPOSE THE NAME SHARON MCDONOUGH AND TORTURE GO HAND-IN-HAND.
