per a friend who is both a lawyer and a former eds. I can sue the company the next time I am rejected per this blacklist. Fortunately there is a good chance that those who maintained one are no longer there.

I heard from one of the people who would have been my coworker in that group that she was let go.... Per him it was partially due to the same stuff she did to me was done to others. Unfortunately, it doesnt remove the fact that she had me blackballed forever from being able to work there. But then I wouldnt want to considering that they pay a substandard wage.

Alabaster,#7UPDATE EX-employee responds

I transferred with EDS from Ohio to Alabama 10 years ago because it was considered a "secure position" at a "safe account". Well, yesterday I was given notice that my job will be consolidated with another and I will be out of work as of March 15th. So much for 27 years of employment. There was no opportunity to go to the job that was taking mine. No offer of any kind whatsoever. This company has made our lives a living hell for the past 8 months. You never knew when you would be pecked on the shoulder by a manager with a box telling you to pack up and get out. I'm told I should feel lucky that I was given some time but I find it hard to be thankful. I left my family to move to another state with this company. I had so many years with them that I actually thought I had no choice. Now what choice to I have? I'm out of a job after devoting so many years with them. I am absolutely devastated. They care nothing of taking away peoples livlihood. I am a single woman and now, at age 50, must try to find employment elsewhere. EDS makes me sick and have done so for quite awhile. They care nothing of the people that run their business. Their only concern is how to make more money. I understand it's a company's primary objective to make money, don't get me wrong. But to treat their employees in the manner in which they do should be considered a crime. They eleviated the stress of constantly looking over my shoulder but have added much more by pushing me out the door after so many years of service. Anyway, EDS will lose this huge contract they fought hard to win 10 years ago and well they should. Thank you EDS for my employment of 27 years only to cast me out like a piece of garbage!
