eBay Inc I bought a certified autograph that ended up being counterfeit. San Jose California
I bought a certified autograph issue Albert Pujols baseball card for 303.99 and had to re-sell it for an emergency and was made to refund the buyer because he said the card was fack and I ask eBay what about my refund from the person I bought it from on eBay.
They said once I refund and take the item back then we can talk about that because I we have to close on transaction at a time.When that was done they said I couldn’t get a refund because it was past their 45 days fraud protection period. I would think that there wouldn’t be a time limit on fraud because it had the right sticker on it with the certified sticker.
I sent it in to PSA/DNA to see was it counterfeit and they sent it back to me saying inconclusive, so I called them to verify the problem and they said there was something wrong with the autograph and couldn’t authenticate it. I sent all information to eBay and still was unable to get a refund.
I ask to speak to someone higher than the customer service person and one guy said I should get a refund and then later email me saying he made a mistake. Every time I called they said that they were puting in notes so I wouldn’t have to explain why I called and I always would have to tell the whole story over like they never annotated what we talked about before and every time it was with a different representative.
I would ask for the last representatives I talked to and they would not be there, because after so many calls I would ask their work ID numher This shouldn’t have to happen with a big company, the seller is still selling on eBay mostly all autograph. He got paid and eBay got paid and I got robbed.
