Eat More Tees Kevin Schumacher Awful Employer, CAVEAT EMPTOR!! Employees Beware! Columbia, South Carolina
Editor’s Comment: Ripoff Report believes in transparency and the more information the better. In this instance, there has been court action regarding this subject Report. We believe it important to note that not all Court Orders are alike. Many court orders are absolutely legitimate and we make no representations about this court order situation. However, we want our users to be aware thatsometimes courts enter orders based upon default which typically means that the defendant didn’t show up. Sometimes a defendant won’t show up because they didn’t even get notice of the case proceedings in the first place and other times defendants may not show up because they don’t necessarily have the knowledge and/or the financial resources to fight. This isn't the only report on Ripoff Report about Eat More Tees or as someone called it Eat More Crap.
I am validating everything that has been written in the other two reports prior to this one. I also wanted to say a few things myself.
Eat More Tees is a terribly run company with horrible managers/owners Kevin Schumacher and Rusty Koss. Most of the employees are good hardworking individuals. The treatment of employees is awful and cruel. They prey on people, give them jobs and threaten their jobs at every chance. It's an extremely sad situation. Many of these people need to work, but have little education or have run into problems, such as drugs or alcohol in the past. They hire them and keep them on a very tight leash, they have no problem working these people to the bone and paying them minimum wage as well as calling them names and constantly making a joke out of them. The matter in which these people are treated is repulsive and if they try to defend themselves their job is threatened. Very odd way to conduct business.
Mr. Schumacher is a want-to-be success. He surrounds himself with people who he thinks he is better than and puts them down to bring himself up. It's pathetic to see a grown man act like this. It reminds me of the bully on the playground who picks on the kids who are smaller than him. A real man, a real success brings people up to their level, helps people get off their feet, wants others to succeed. Mr. Schumacher has such low self esteem that instead of helping people he preys on them, he is cheap and disrespectful. He makes employees think they can confide in him, then he will go back and repeat everything they have said to the other employees. He talks down to everyone. This man has no respect for anyone and shows it.
Mr. Koss is a little different than Kevin Schumacher, he might have the ability to turn himself around. He's smarter than Kevin, but is too afraid to show it. When he is disrespectful to an employee, you can see that he feels bad about treating a human being like that. I think if Mr.Koss removed Kevin from the picture he could learn to be a great boss. Many employees might disagree with me on this, but I think he might have a chance to be a good person.
Other stuff
also i remember when i would tell people i worked there and it was always the same reaction - is "that" guy still there? now i laugh. a lot of local businesses will not work with this guy. i wonder if the BBB has anything on him?
there was this guy who i felt bad for because all he wanted to do was a good job, and he always did, but kevin always had something nasty to say about this guy and right to his face, really mean. if he reads this, he should know he can do much better! he's a great artist and would be able to find a job where he was treated like a human being. i also remember a girl another artist, who was smart and nice, kevin treated her like crap too. funny enough she rarely let him get away with it. he was so awful to her she finally broke down and cried. she was let go after a while too. he treats the art people like they are stupid, and i think most of them have a degree in art.
as one of the other reports stated, he tries to get people to do all this work for him while getting paid minimum wage, such as construction. he tried to get me to do stuff like this too. i saw employees come and go. they were always firing people, especially from the back, but up front too.
kevin if you read this treat your employees how you would want to be treated by an employer.
