To make this long story short, Earthlink has purchased Onemain.com which was an Internet provider/wed-hoster...

GET THIS Unbelievable but true practice!!!

I was a client of Onemain.com and was hosting my own web site with them and had 56k Internet access provided by them, when one day with no previous announcement my service gets disconnected, and days later an e-mail from earthlink informs me about the merger of there company with Onemain.com!

Well fine, mergers happen every day, but what had happen with my 200 dollars that I have prepaid Onemain.com for hosting my web site, and my 7 month prepaid balance of Internet provision?!

...After 5 different transfers and after many customer disservice representatives, and three blood boiling hours of frustrating explanation/kissing a*s, I was transferred to a so-called manager who oh finally have found some magical corporate policy regarding the merger of both companies: "yea sorry to bad for you, but web hosting wasn't covered under our merger, and these 8 month of balance are now worth only 2 1/2 month with earthlink because our excellent service costs more than the one Onemain had"!

(You know people, if you work for a living the last thing you have time for is a class action lawsuit)

Finally, I have requested my money back on at least the 2 1/2 month of earthlink's excellent Internet access ,that I was missing out on, (this was the only thing that they would acknowledge to have owed me.

after they agreed to send me 50 some dollars...

NINE MONTH LATER I HAVE YET TO SEE A DIME !!!!
