I ordered a replacement Restore CD from E-Machines for a 4661d computer, When disk arrived it had a different Ver. Number (1.8R)from the orgiinal(Ver.3.3).

Called Customer Service (???) and was told to "try the disk and see what happened". Since computer was operationg OK and the new disk was to replace a damaged disk and was for future use if needed, I did not want to use the disk and then have to reinstall a lot of software. Or worse, find out it was the wrong disk and have a unusable computer until I got the correct disk.

Asked to talk to supervisor, tech refused twice, finally said suoervisor was busy.

Wrote letter of complaint to VP Customer Care about tech and again asked about difference in Ver. numbers. Three weeks has passed and no responce.
