I'm terribly sorry that you had such a bad experience with E-loan especially since my experience was so wonderful. I used E-loan for a home equity line of credit and it was the best experience I've ever had with a financial institute. Our customer service rep was Monica Barkley and she held our hands the whole way. She called to make sure things were going okay and to find out if we had any questions. While waiting for the approval, she had me call her on a Sunday as she was going in the office for a few hours. We knew right away when we had been approved. Unfortunately in large companies you run the full range from employees who don't care to employees who want to make your experience as wonderful as possible. Fortunately, I had the later and you had the earlier. Don't write a company off just because of a mistake. They do happen.
