Duluth Dodge Uscrupulous car dealer... what a surprise! Rip-off! Duluth Minnesota
My husband and I are in the market for a newer used car. We found the model we wanted at Duluth Dodge, a 2005 used Grand Caravan SXT with 21,000 miles. Online, it listed for 22,900. When I went in to negotiate... it magically went up to 23,995! I have a really clean 95 Dodge Grand Caravan LE that has quad seating, alloy wheels, new tranny, extremely clean interior. They offered $750 for it (in trade on a 20+ thousand car). Trade in value is near 3000 depending on the website. I wanted 2000-2500 and they told me I was nuts.
Well, today, the car is listed on the website for 24,999 UP ANOTHER $1000! You can buy a new one, same model without dickering on the price for about 25,000. Unreal. They supposedly have this liquidator who brought these cars in to sell... they told me that the model we looked at, JUST CAME IN and wasn't there earlier in the day when we were looking. Little did they know I had done a CarFax on it and saw it online before they called me to tell me about it and knew it had been sitting on the lot at least a month.
