In 2013 Dec.13 I went to Carmax to purchase a vehicle with an approval from ROADLOANS for a loan up to 35,000.00 for a vehichle 2010 and up with no more than 110,000 miles. We could not get a deal done at carmax so we asked the sales rep to printout our approval he did and we took our loan to DriveTime. We got there 9am did not leave until 10 minuets to closing. After choosing the car I was badgered for hours about a down payment Here’s the case in point... DriveTime sales rep lead us me and my fiancee’ to believe that He was processing the loan through road loans and we were dealing with Santander Bank . When really the paperwork was processed through there finance dept. Now years later when I need to explore my refinancing options I’m lead to believe this is done through Road Loans so I call Road Loans to find out what bank they use. Yes! They use Santander bank but Santander bank has no retention of any records of your concerns. So we back track and talk to Road Loans , Yes! there is the loan application an approval it’s still on Road Loans records amd They will even tell the loan was never used Hm I find out now after that Bridgecrest now DT finance dept is the loaner for the car. Let’s get this str-8 I give you a loan You take the loan set it to the side Process a loan through your company I find out years later You would figure I have no arguement wrong They will fraudulently sell you insurance you do not need at the time of purchase because you have to have it insured before it leaves the lot And There are terms in every contract that allow reference to refinancing read them in these terms for an issue such as this to arise I must wait until I meet these terms in my case I must pay down the principal on the car to like 5,000.00 then I can refine Again this is years later so the issue is tolling I meet the terms to refinance But... I’m not dealing with the bank I’m dealing with DT I would like to know just how many others out there are in the same boat Let’s Class Act

Your complaint says you were never informed about the lender that is financing your vehicle. How can that be accurate? First, the lender name and contact information would be on the contract you signed at the time of purchase. Secondly, who have you been paying your payments to since your purchase? I don't work for this dealership at all. But even people that purchase through DriveTime usually know who loaned the funds for the purchase. Check your contract, you should see the name of the lender, the contact info and the amount financed right on page 1.
