DriveTime Aka Ugly Duckling rip-off! Their autos are junk and need numerous repairs! Rip-off! Nationwide USA
This is a car dealer that had to change their name because of the bad business practices they use. They use to be Ugly Duckling but had to change their name. I have it from a previous manager who no longer works there that they buy cars from the auction and they know that 10 things need to be repaired but they only fix what is cheap and also if what is wrong won't be noticed or need actual repair for more than 30 days they don't fix it because then the limited 30 day warranty is up and your stuck fixing it.
He also told me they would put saw dust in the transmission to stop any noises, remount tires so that wear in the sidewalls would be inside and not noticable, they never changed the oil but put the sticker in the window saying they did (personally i know they did not change the oil in my car because it is synthetic oil in according to the mechanic i had fix it and that it still had life left). After I bought the car because I had no credit or co-signor I had to fix the alternator, the electrical system, the air ride replaced so dont buy a car from these people they have more lawyers in phoenix than they do other employees cause they are always being sued. Ride the bus you would be better off.
