DR Horton Shoddy workmanship causes major concrete slab problems Draper, Utah
I will never again buy a DR Horton home! He does not stand by his work. I live in a town home community in Utah. The homes were built in 2004 and show severe damage due to shoddy workmanship. Rebar was not laid in the foundation and as a result, nearly every model shows signs of sinking, cracking, slipping, etc. Long story short, the HOA filed a lawsuit and DR Horton fought tooth and nail to avoid responsibility. DR Horton finally agreed to "repair" the problem but at a cost to the homeowner. Several owners are left with cracks in the Sheetrock, sloping floors, cracked cement inside and outside the home and empty pockets after paying for DR Horton's mistakes!
