Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I was coming out of the new Home Depot in Port Orange, Florida with garden supplies and plants. I started to put these items into my vehicle. there was quite a few things so my suv was getting pretty crowded with little or no space to put anything else. Just about the time I started to cram another item (palm tree) into the vehicle. This bluish older chevy minivan pulls up with two guys in it. The one guy is taller with short blond hair, almost to the point of shaven, a little big boness in him and the other has short brownish black hair and is more on the skinny twirp look. Anyway, they, while still in their van ask me if I want somehome speakers (Hey, man this is kind of a weird question but our boss gave us too many speakers and we have to get rid of them before we meet him in a little bit do you want to buy them, man, any price will do). I was kind of in a hurry and hesitate. They pulled in anyway an proceeded to get out of the van and try to sell me the speakers. They pulled one of them out of an already opened box. They looked like really nice speakers and they sounded convincing. They also said that the last person they tryed to sell them too offered them $800.00 but wanted to pay with a check. which was pretty smart of that person. Anyway, I proceeded to tell them that all I had was around $250.00 and that was for this months rent. They kept hounding me and told me that they'd follow me to an ATM machine. This was getting old and I kept telling them no I can't do this because Of my rent and the reasons behind my purchase would be out of haste. I asked them if they were trying to scam me or take advantage of me with some other words added of course. They proceeded to show me some paper-work with their supposed names that i can't remember on it along with the company name DOGG Digital Audio who they said was base in Orlando. They conyinued to hound me and kept pushing me verbally both of the to hurry up. I kept saying no. They kept it up. For some reason, of which i still don't know, I said yes. At that instant, they immediatly started shoving speakers into my already cramed to capacity SUV. They were in no way careful or considerate. After they finally got them loaded, They followed me to a 7-11 store on the corner of Clyde Morris Blvd. and Taylor Rd.. I had to lead, of course. They asked me if I was going to try to take off with them with out paying. I'm not a thief and I didn't think they were until reading reports and having the same misfortunes happen to me. I pulled into the 7-11 and they parked on the right side of me to block the view of the store. The twirpy lookin guy came in with me and proceeded to ask the clerk if they had an ATM, it was right beside us. I proceeded to withdraw $200.00 from the machine. The whole time the twirpy guy kept asking me for more money for weed, then beer, etc. I didn't do it of course. Then after giving him the money he still pushed himself further into asking me to give him stuff I had in my vehicle. I kept denying him everything he asked for. He said his friend/partner was mad that they were selling the speakers for so cheap. When I denied him again he kept calling me a baby. I said that he had the money and to leave. He continued to his minivan and said he was only kidding. He got in a drove off. I watched them and saw that they went into the Wal-Mart SuperCenter across the street. They were both younger guys in their 20's. The blond guy never got out at the 7-11. They probably have surveilance on the ATM machine that would catch the twirpy guy on tape. It happened around 3:00pm to 4:00pm on Monday May 13, 2002. I think that is all. The speakers are a fraud with missing parts, faulty equiptment and a nice outer shell. I don't even know if the city which i gave ya'll is going to turn out where they are located. I have they warranty info though if you want to look at it. Thank You for your help!
