Where do I begin? When I signed up for dish network over the internet in august of 2001, I thought I was getting a deal. I was getting two systems, free intallation, and a hard drive like tivo, all for $60 a month.

Well, when they first came they wanted to put the sattelite on the roof of our two story building. I asked why when the downstairs tenant had his on ground level. The man from dish network said I'd get better reception. This should have been a red flag right there.

Then he tried to sell me a snow cover for a $100 bucks but said it really wasn't necessary. So it was installed, no cover. A month goes by, guess what? Hidden charges on installation because of my PARTICULAR system that they failed to tell me when they gave their bogus offer. OK, I let that slide. Months go by and snow begins.

Guess what? No dish for a week. I call them, they want me to pay them to come clean it! Or I can climb on the roof and do it. I am disabled and sickly and have no one near me to help. I also live in snow country of Buffalo NY.

So I have no choice but to cancel. They then charge another $240 to disconnect, which means NOTHING! Fine! Get me out!!!!! Now they say they'll ship crates free of charge to ship the units back. Guess what? No shipping labels! And, get this now I have to climb the roof and disconnect the dish parts myself!!!!!!!!

Now wait a minute! I'm disabled, explained all this several times on the phone to these inept con-men and don't know didly about disconnecting a dish. I tell them all this. They want another $120 to disconnect the dish. WHAT THE HELL WAS THE DISCONNECTION FEE OF $240 FOR???????????????

So now, I am currently seeking someone to help take it down. I am trying desperatley to find someone to take it down before the ten days expire to get it back to them. Also, I've explained my situation over and over again, to no avail. Now, I just called about the shipping labels, and they said they would send them right out. I bet they come after the ten day period! I will keep you all informed. AVOID DISH NETWORK AT ALL COSTS!!!
