OK, so they had a case of fraud or somebody made a mistake entering information and your card was cancelled by mistake. Your card was not honored by the merchant...happens all the time...you weren't the first person at that restaurant to have had that happen and you won't be the last. They sent you a new card and apologized. Get on with your life. There's nothing more they can do other than come and kiss you on the lips.
