Direcway ripoff hidden fair access policy(FAP) restricting use Internet
Just a word to other people looking for high speed internet. Direcway does offer you a high speed internet connection and it is fast...That's the good news. Bad news is that you can't use it but a little bit, 169 mbs in 4 hours to be exact. Something they don't mention in all of their pretty high speed websites.
Buried deep down in the legal jargon that is laced with ambiguity is a little clause called FAP(fair access policy). FAP is something that none of their sales people will ever mention to you. You've paid for a huge pipeline to the internet but you can only dip a small bucket of bits out a time. I don't know which one is worse, trying to pull the internet through a straw at a snail's pace or going lightening fast for 169 MB in a few minutes before you are curtailed by Direcway for a day. The dialup at least only cost me $15.00 a month.
By the time you, the Sucker, realizes this you are hooked by Direcway for the installation and etc costs. I payed $688.00 and managed to get back around $420.00 months and months later after I canceled my service with them in the 2nd week.
My beef with Direcway? Be up front with the FAP!!!! What if Porche sold a car that would do 250 mph but would only run 5 miles each day. Do ya think the consumer should know up front???? Direcway hides FAP intentionally!!!! THEY are a ripoff. How do I know? I'm still trying to soothe the reaming they gave me!! Tell everybody!!!! Direcway is a RIPOFF!!!!
