While visiting the ATT store in D'iverville, MS to get a cell phone replaced since mine was stolen, we were talked into signing up for DirectTV Now. The two girls acted really funny but I couldn't put my finger on it; still panicking about my iphone being stolen.       We'd been searching to cut the cable anyway.  We ended up after the free month not liking the buffering and there were channels missing that the DirecTV brouchure  said were included.  We called and signed up for a Uverse package for a year (Jan.).    We were told by ATT that they'd discontinue the DirecTV Now.  It wasn't until a few months later that we noticed DirecTV continuing to draft my husband's bank account for $40isH each month.       We called ATT and are told they cannot disconnect it and to call Direct.  THEY ARE OWNIED BY THE SAME PEOPLE! 

All DirecTV numbers lead you back to ATT.   It's like a dog chasing its tail.   We were directed by a foreign speaking guy to a Direct website and told to chat with a technician.  They BARELY UNDERSTAND ENGLISH!  The Direct tech lead us to a questionnaire to solve our problem.   HMMMM    They wanted us to PAY to take the survey.  INSANE. 

ATT were suppose to cancel the DirecTV Now in Jan. of this year,  It's now mid Sept.  We don't even have an account number since ATT said they'd cancel the Direct when we signed up for the Uverse package.

The next step was to our bank to cut the money trail.  Our bank told us we cannot stop a draft that we DID NOT AUTHORIZE TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!    My husband travels with his job and is gone for several months at a time.  I hope the monthly charge is coming though his debit card instead of a regular bank draft      If so, we will cancel & order another debit card as soon as he gets home at the end of Oct.   He has to have his card on the road for hotels, meals, gas,...

I swore from past experiences with ATT that I'd NOT continue to use them.  Shame on me thinking it'd be better this time.  LIES, LIES, and more LIES.

Just as SOON as the Uverse 1 year period is up, EVERYTHING will be cut (4 phones, internet, & cable package).  Counting the days.   

ATT IS THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!!
