Digiarty Softwar Inc. Digiarty Avangate Lousy Product would not let me run the trial & I could not open the full app either Amsterdam Internet
I found this app, MacX Video Converter Pro, hoping that it would convert movie formats.
I could not get the demo version to work without the software company shooting up a hard sell page regarding buying immediately the full version. Unhappily, like a fool, I did the purchase even though my gut told me not to do it.
After downloading the full version onto my new iMac, it was not possbile to open the program with the key I was given. The popups never stopped even though I had the full retail version installed.
Digiarty Software gave me some advice and after trying to use the license key about 10 times, suggested I get a new license key which they sent to me. At this point I had lost all confidence in the software and told them I only wanted a refund based on the fact that the software is useless.
I was so tired of the run around that I just wanted my $29.95 back. I did not use the second license key they came up with. I am completely turned off of their software. Now they re saying that they will only send me half of the purchase price. They have a litany of made up bullshit--and on top of that they never warn the consumer about their refund policy.
Here is the liany of excuses re getting a full refund:
We only hold the 30-day money back guarantee if our products cannot normally work with error or bug and we cannot solve it within an acceptable period of time or provide a temporary solution.
The following refund requests will be rejected:
1. You request a refund for no particular reason;
2. You request a refund by simply a "It does not work" or "I do not want it" reason and refuse to elaborate;
3. You request a refund for a feature we do not have/support. Digiarty products are sold as "try-before-you-buy" software. We highly recommend you to verify the program's functions and make sure it works well on your computer before your purchase.
If you do not want to get the problem resolved, we could only accept a half refund as compensation.
I can refute each excuse--the try before you buy is top of list--could never get the sample app to work at all --up popped the BUY ME NOW window which crushed whatever hope one had of testing the trial version.
BUYER BEWARE--this is a scam company. Be aware that they are located in Amsterdam. I strongly suggest one avoid buying from them at all costs.
