I bought a brand new 2008 Lincoln Navigatior last spring and when looking at the car I told the sales person that I am a sales rep and I spend a great deal of time doing business in my car and on my cell phone. (It is illegal to use the cell phone while driving in (Washington). The sales person showed me the button on the the front panel that said "phone" and that this was a bluetooth system in the car.

I loved the car a especially that feature. I bought the car and it was getting late in the evening and I wanted to sync my phone so she gave me a booklet with the directions on how to do this and since it was later in the evening she asked me to come back the next day and someone there would help me set it up. I tried to sync it myself that night but I was unable to.

I went in the next day for help but the guy never showed up to help me. I ended up going out of town on business but when i returned I brought my car in to have the phone system set up. When I came in the service guy told me that they did not know much about the Navigator since they rarely sold them but he believed that my car did not have the system in it. I told him he much be wrong and showed him the button that said "phone" and he said that since my car was made in the first half of the year that it did not have this system but the ones made in th second half of the year did.

I called the sales manage the next day and he said he sould make it right and he would call me the next day. I never received a call. I called him back a few days later and he said he was working on getting me some answers and would get back with me. He never did.

I later called another sales manager and again he said he would make it right and call me the next day. I never heard from him.

Finally my husband went in and talked with him and he said he would take care of it and call him back but then we never heard back from him. My husband then went back in and another manager said he could not help him.

My husband was so mad that her drove to the corporate office and spoke with the VP and she said she would make sure they wou8ld take care of it.

We took the car in and when I picked it up they installed on the dash board a cheap hands free bluetooth.

We turned it in to the BBB but they could not make the business make it right. The company told the BBB that the phone button was to mute the radio when I used the cell phone. (That is completly incorrect).

There is much more invloved and this has been going on for months!
