In response to Mark'scomplaint we submit the following: Mark submitted an application to become a VIP in the DHS Club. Part of this application is our Terms of Agreement, which contain our cancellation policy. This policy states: "CANCELLATION - I understand that I can cancel my Partner or VIP Membership within 72 hours of submitting my application and receive a full refund. I understand and agree that this agreement may be terminated by myself by processing through the DHS Club's website or by submitting such notification in writing by postage mail or fax to arrive at The DHS Club HQ no later than the last day of the month. If I submit this cancellation later than the last day of the month, I understand I will be charged the current month's subscription fee. To cancel your membership on our website go to: http://www.clubshop.com/cancel.html. If you do not have internet access or wish to process your cancellation online, send your cancellation via postal mail to: The DHS Club, 2560 Placida Road, Englewood, FL 34224. If you choose to send your cancellation via postal mail, your membership will be cancelled on the date we receive the mailed cancellation. You may fax your cancellation to: 941-475-4081. Cancellation will take effect on the date we receive the faxed cancellation. " In order for Mark to process his application, he had to click on the box which stated he had read and agreed to the Terms of Agreement. Mark did check on this box, indicating he had read and agreed to these Terms of Agreement. Mark later decided he did not wish to be a VIP Member in our Club and cancelled his VIP membership. As he cancelled AFTER the 72 hour right of recision period (which is contained in the Terms of Agreement as noted above under "Cancellation Policy", he is not due a refund. Mark must assume personal responsiblity for his actions. As an adult he entered into this agreement by indicating he had read our Terms of Agreement. The DHS Club has honored these Terms of Agreement. Mark does not want to nor does is he willing to accept personal responsiblity for his actions.
