About three years ago we were visiting Branson Missouri and went to a meeting of the Vacation Travel Club there. We were treated to a fancy presentation where we were quoted very low rates for cruises, flights, hotels, condos, etc. anywhere in the world if we were to become members. Also as an added incentive we were promised a free cruise and a free trip just as a sort of "signing bonus." This cost us nearly $5000 Canadian but we thought it was well worth it as that wouldn't even cover the cost of the cruise or trip if we were to book it on our own.

When we went to use our membership a few months later we were told that the company that had sold the package to us had gone out of business so the free trip and cruise were not available. Also when I went in to try and book a vacation through them I discovered to my chagrin that their trips were no cheaper than many websites I could go to for booking vacations. In fact, most of them were cheaper than through this travel club.

In short, we were royally shafted and might as well have flushed our money down the toilet.

Great Membership with Club

We are sorry to hear that Gary and Larke have had a bad experience with the sales company out of Branson, MO called Destinations Unlimited. Sometimes when a new member joins the club, Independent Sales Distributors may offer extra incentives for them to join that day. It sounds like that was the case when these members joined. Destinations offered a Cruise Certificate and another trip for joining, but unfortunately Destinations is no longer in business. Most Travel Certificates given out by Distributors carry a one year expiration. So, if these trips were offered several years ago, then it would have expired a couple years ago anyway. We are sorry that the company in MO is not available now to give you an additional Cruise Certificate, but thiese trips were not offered by Vacation Travel Club. However, VTC still offers a great Membership service for all its members to enjoy. Members have thousands of available Condominiums worldwide to choose from at fantastic wholesale prices. We hope that the experience with the MO office will not stop you from using the Travel Service portion of your program and we welcome your future travel requests. Vacation Travel Club
