I brought to him a client with 2 projects to start and others upcoming. He insisted I change my company name to coincide with his so we could more easily accomodate the client and I would maintain the West Coast office and he'd maintain the East Coast. I could tell things started to change when he started avoiding my phone calls, would say one thing do another (many tell-tales were easy clues), collected payments from the client but instead of forwarding what I was due and as invoiced he moved into a larger office, hired another designer and brought another marketer on board. He promised profusely that I would assist him on an Island hotel project but when the contact was finalized he renigged on the whole deal including our fee agreement that He proposed.
Having fulfilled my obligations, I started calling him as I wasn't receiving any money on the invoices I had sent him, yet when he would take my calls which I began making daily he insisted he mailed my check via fed-ex overnight and they didn't pick up, for expenses I incurred on the design services I performed and then he said the money was wired.... but I am resourceful... my bank followed up with his bank and they confirmed no monies were wired from his account to anywhere.

I turned it over to an attorney to do a letter but that's all I can afford now... he has wiped out my company and I was in business since 1995. All because of his Greed! Lies and Empty Promises! Lip Service is all he has to offer! If this is how he treats a sole-providing professional female, how can he be trusted to treat his clients fairly? Or anyone ?!!?
