Since Dealertrack Technologies took over CentralDispatch.com and Jtracker.com there have been no improvements. Not one in 15 months. The rate has tripled. The software has many faults that have not been addressed. Let me put this in simple terms. Let's pretend Dealertrack is a local McDonald's restaurant. Follow this analogy.
1) the floor would never get washed
2) the parking lot would never be cleaned
3) the food prices would triple
4) no new food items would be added to the menu
5) the help would suck
6) the lines would be 5 times longer at the drive thru and in the lobby
6) the food would be served cold
7) management would not fire an employee when they screw up because they wouldn't care.
The difference here is that Brokers and Carriers need a Central Dispatch service to manage orders. They can't just go to Burger King when McDonald's sucks.
You have to keep buying the crap food at McDonalds and wait for someone to build a competitive restaurant to go to.
I hope that happens soon. So do ever other broker and carrier hope so too. When you make your customers puke like Dealertrack does - you can't expect the whole thing will not blow up in your face.
Do you hear me Mark O'Neil? You are making us puke. We are tired of eating your crap! Fix it right.
