Deal Chicken Gannette Inc. Rip Off 3day/2night vacation Daytona Beach Florida Nationwide
One year ago this month, I purchased a voucher for 3day/2night stay at serveral different locations. I tryed for one solid year to send in the request for different hotels and locations and was always turned down. Finally made a reservation for a stay at the Holiday Inn in Daytona Beach Florida. Had reservation confirmation number all secured. I calle the Holiday Inn twice before we drove down to make sure the reservations were all set which they were.
We drove down 2 1/2 hours, got to the hotel to be told that our reservation had been cancelled by a third party. After one solid year of trying to redeem the voucher, I thought all was a go. The assistant manager confirmed our reservation had been cancelled. Can not tell you how upset I was at this point. The Holiday Inn did offer us a room for that night at a resonable rate, we did not choose to fight all the traffic to drive home.
So now I am out what I paid for the voucher in the first place, and additional fee of $44.00 to travel something and the cost of the room we had to pay for.
NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM DEAL CHICKEN!!! It is a rip off. I have written to the company 3 times with not even an email back. Never again.............Don't deal with this stupid chicken...
