Darren Mckeeman from Dead Dog Studios is a thief and a liar

Darren Mckeeman claims to be a mighty programmer.

When in fact the opposite is the truth. He lives is a sailboat down by the water and has ripped off everyone he has ever worked with.

I hired Darren Mckeeman from Dead Dog Studios to build a website for my company. He said it would be no problem and that the total cost would be $3,000. He stated that I needed to pay him 50% up front and 50% when complete.

I paid him $1,500 and he said he would start on the website right away. 1 month later, he refused to answer any of my calls or emails.

I have spoken to several other people who have had the same experience with Darren Mckeeman of Dead Dog Studios.

I filed a police report about Darren Mckeeman of Dead Dog Studios  and they told me that he has several warrants out for his arrest for scamming people.

Beware of Darren Mckeeman he will steal your money and leave you with nothing.

The incident did indeed happen, but not exactly the way the complainer described.

First off: My time is worth $125 an hour.

Second off: I only received $1000 and the total price agreed upon was $2000. If I'd done the intial dealing I'd have charged him by the hour. I was doing it as a favor to someone who was tired of dealing with this tool and told me so.

Third: The client wasted my time bickering about the logo so much that it became not worth my time to deal with, so I politely referred him to a lady who would actually do his site for $500. I don't have time for people whop don't know what they want and aren't articulate enough to write it down. Read back over this ripoff report and tell me if you think this person could put together a coherent scope of work.

Fourth: All my deposits are non-refundable. Caveat emptor and all that.

I wish I could say I really cared about this report, but quite frankly my company was just featured in Fortune Magazine so I'm kind of preoccupied with that at the moment. As far as I know he started working with the person I recommended.
