A salesperson for Danka came to our office in March of 1998 offering to lease a copy machine to our company for one year (verbally) at approximately $100. a month. We paid monthly and found their statements (ABC credit company) very unsatisfactory, therefore, we called several times to have them remove their machine. They stated we had a "payoff" amount, which was NOT stated to us originally.

We left many messages with Mike Lyons, of Danka to return our call BEFORE 1pm or fax us whatever was necessary. He always called back after 1pm. Finally, months later, he faxed us a "payoff" of $2156.20!!! This was in Jan. of 2000! We thought the contract expired March of 1999 & we could just turn the copier back to Danka!

We have been arguing with Danka for almost a year now to no avail! Now we have their copy machine & want to return it. We feel we have paid enough on this copier and want to end the unsatisfactory relationship with Danka.

Bad management and over priced!!

I use to work for Danka Office Imaging. And for the most part the people are very knowledgeable. But Management is bad. I would strongly suggest you find another company to do business with. They are very over priced. Management treats there sales teams very bad. I can honestly tell you the sales manager in Amarillo Texas (Norman Jordan) is very rude and mistreats his sales team like they where just dogs. He was never my boss. But I saw a lot of good people get hurt by his process of motivation by intimidation. One very nice lady and one hell of a sales person had a heart attack due to his awful month. And many other just had nervous breakdowns. As for there customer service, (LOL) it has become a joke. If you ever have a serious problem like billing! Be ready to fight. There contracts are to protect them even if they are wrong. So please have you lawyer check it out before signing anything. Do to there bad judgments and pricing. There stock is way down and people are leaving the company so fast. Just my opinion, but hope it saves someone a lot of pain. One final thought. Until they get rid of people like Norman Jordan, the company can never be trusted.
