Complaint Review: Daniel Evans - Georgia

Daniel & Joni Evans are desperate broke scamers. I initially met Dan in Atlanta, where he lived in a 20,000 sqft Mansion on Doris Road in Milton, GA, As it turned out he was squatting, after being foreclosed on. After 6 months he was forced to vacate, as the property was sold by the bank.

Dan has an elaborate & fraudulent Real Estate Development Scam formerly involving a mega hotel resort in the Bahamas (Eleuthra) aka Beka Development, aka SoundPoint Resort. That scam has now shifted to Las Vegas. Dan tried to portray himself as the lead financier  raising Capitalfor the aquisition of the Fountainbleau Hotel in Las Vegas, but now appears to have magically repositioned his fraudulent investment scam since learning of the new stadium & Las Vegas convention center expansion.

His scam is positions him as the CEO of Daniel Evans Capital Advisors, raising capital from China Billionaires to invest in these maga development projects. His Attorney in Atlanta (David Ivey) knows he is homeless and doesn't disclose this, while he encourages investors like myself to help this man and his family and his investment company.

For the past three years, Dan, his wife Joni and their eight kids have gone from living in 1 room hotel rooms, church shelters, and taking advantage of unsuspecting sympathetic Christians willing to help them. I have personally invested (loaned) Daniel Evans over $15,000, raised another $7,500 from close friends to help them buy groceries, pay phone bill, pay rent, etc.  I have cashed in Freq Flyer miles for his travel to Bahamas & Las Vegas and paid for his hotels.I have had to meet Dan & Joni at Kroger several times to purchase them Visa Gift Cards so they can buy groceries. I did it under the promise that not only would I be reimbursed at 100% ROI, but would also be part of the Real Estate Mgmt Team and 5% ownership in the project(s).

In December 2015 our relationship began to unravel. I stated doing some due-diligence on Dan & Joni. They never disclosed there were several other Friends/Investors that had invested/loaned money without repayment. One investor in Chicago contacted me, and asked if I knew how to get a hold of Dan. He said he had inveted $150,000 to Dan, but the number he had was disconnected, so I gave him his number. This apparently upset Dan, or as I believe he used it as an excuse to cut communications with me. He has gone into hiding, changed his number, etc.

His last known address was Thomaston Georgia but could now be in Las Vegas. I am not going to let Daniel Evans get away with this. I am also filing a formal complaint against his attorney for disclosue & ethics violations. i provide this information and ripoff report to other unsuspecting friends/investors who have been helping Daniel & Joni Evans or are considering helping them...This is a warning!!! You will be promised the world, but receive nothing back. You will lose your money...I guarantee it!
