Daimler Chrysler Dodge ripoff Warranties not once but twice Fayetteville New York
Fourteen months ago my oil pump went in my Dodge Dakota sport pick-up. I had a $3000 warranty,good till year 2005 or 60,000mls never used but still paying for.Went to Virginia to visit family and oil pump went on the way down. Got to my families house and took truck to dodge dealer in Virginia.(Quinn Motors,Inc. 6747 Geo. Wash.Mem Hwy. Gloucester,Virginia 23061 804-693-2408). They would not honor my warranty because they used the excuse that my problem was due to lack of maintinance. Mind you that I have my oil changed every 2500-3000mls.I had them call in an inspector because thier reason was false. He also declined my warranty,who could blame him ,he works for them.
I ended up paying $548.00 for a new oil pump even though I repeatedly asked them if it was under warranty,they asured me that it was. Then they wouldn't even gaurantee thier work.
Now the oil pump that they put in fourteen months ago is not working and not only that, a lifter has collapsed. Called dodge dealer here in N.Y. Fayettville dodge last Tuesday made appointment for Thursday,had the truck towed over, never heard from them I had to call them then yesterday which was Monday the following week they called me to get permission to take the oil pan off the truck. Poor service.
They called today, Tuesday to tell me that they could not honor my warranty because in Virginia they Null& voided my warranty without my knowledge so they would not have to do anymore repairs under the hood of my truck.So where is my $3000 dollars, not to mention they want the labor for this bullshit.
