Sent rebate forms (exactly the same, at the same time) to 2 companies - D-link and Office Depot for a D-link wireless PCI card. Office Depot send the rebate right away. D-link sent a postcard saying no valid D-link product purchased. I sent them the credit card charge information but they still will not send the rebate. I am sick of these companies that use rebates to NOT PAY CUSTOMERS MONEY BACK. Don't do D-link rebates unless you are prepared to resubmit multiple times!

Sorry Matt, but the rebate center can't accept a credit card charge for the rebate, because it just shows what your retailer is - it doesn't show the actual item that was purchased. Say for example you bought your D-Link item at Best Buy. So you send in your VISA receipt, which just says "Best Buy" and the end price. For all D-Link knows, you could have bought a camera or a couple CDs from Best Buy, because it doesn't show the information for what you bought. You NEED to send in your retailer cash register receipt for the rebate to be processed, because it shows the item.
