Cybernet Ventures bogus charges Ripoff Seattle Washington
I have received charges of $24.95 from time to time on my bank statement assigned to Cybernet Ventures. I have made several calls to the company, with many different results, always stating that my account has been closed and that I will have no more charges and that the amounts I am disputing will be refunded. I have never received a single refund.
Each time I speak to someone the story is a little different. Today, I was told that my account has been closed since the end of 2002, and that the company shows no record of recent charges, and that they have not received any money from me. But my bank statement includes the company name and the phone number I used to make the contact. They also never show any record of having received prior phone calls. the promised me that it would not be possible for anyone to make further charges, and yet, the charges continue.
I finally contacted my bank, and I am more hopeful that they will be able to resolve the matter and at least block Cybernet Ventures from receiving any future money from my account, but they only will refund the most recent charge.
