I recently purchased a CV Writing Package (Executive Package - USD 249) from CVNow after they gave me a free review on original CV. The free CV review pointed out that my CV is poorly written - That I am a 'doer' and not 'achiever'; the free report even came with a result of ATS scanning to show that my original CV doesn't categorize me into the area that I wish to land a job.

When I received my first draft, I was disappointed. The draft CV produced by them is merely a copy and paste job from my original CV. What they have done is rearranging the order of my key achievements, and so on. The only area they have done a bit more is the Summary or Profile section - Even that there is error because there were statements that I felt that were not inline with my experience and area of expertise.

I have made it very clear to CVNow before I purchased the package that my aim is to land a Director level job and an important reason for me to buy the package is to have CVNow to transform my CV so that I can pass the ATS scanning with an outcome that put me in the right category. I questioned them a few times via email (after receiving my complaint, I never heard from John but the customer care team) - How would the revised CV improve the scanning result significantly given that it is only a copy and paste job? 

I requested for a full refund; but CVNow was only willing to offer a 25% partial refund which I can't accept. I indicated to them that I am okay with 75% refund, needless to say we couldn't reach a concensus and I have to pursue the refund matter through appropriate channels.
