Customer Service Research Inc. Stole $1600 from me Internet, New York
I answered a internet add that asked if I wanted to supplement my income.Customer Service Research Inc. sent me a check for $1600. I was to use the money as follows 1) send $950 to Canada to a Dawn Rivait and $100 was to cover Western Union fees. 2) $250 was to go shopping at Walmart, K-Mart or Best Buy. 3) $300 was for my time and gas. The check they sent me was returned because of a fraudulent acct.. The bank took back their $1600. and when I called the company they hung up on me and now they won't answer my phone calls. All I wanted was my $1600. back but they won't even talk to me.

I caution anyone who has to respond to a Legitimate (cough) business that uses "gmail"....Its probably a scam or not very smart to have their own secured network email. Contact or file a report with the FTC. I think you can also contact your local D.A. as this was a fraud against your checking account. Its a Scam....so there is some legitimate avenues to persue. Was this from out of country though? Meaning NON USA business? That makes it trickier to get resolution.

Why would anyone send $1600 to someone they don't know? Why wouldn't they have sent the $950 to the other person without involving you? There is only one possible answer: TO SCAM YOU.
Next time just flush the money down the toilet and save the postage. Idiot.
