In July 2000 my bottled water delivery man did not show up on the delivery date and did not show up the following day (Friday). I was totally out of water and the office help "assured" me the delivery was a day behind schedule. Wrong. I was forced to go elsewhere for water to get through the weekend. I was totally fed up when on Monday again no delivery.

I put all the empties into my truck and delivered them to the office at 1111 E. Washington St. in Joliet. I was given a receipt, hand written, and told it would take a couple of weeks to get my deposit back since it must come from the main office. The weeks went by and no check. Repeat calls produced the same story, a couple of weeks and it will be there. Wrong again.

I called the main office and was told the same story, a few weeks and we will have it. Anyway, it is now October and Culligan still has my $30.00 deposit for the 5 empty bottles i returned to them in July.

It has never been nor will ever be a practice of Culligan to "rip off" anyone. We could not have grown to the worlds largest water treatment company buy doing so.
Our reputation is as good as our name.

We have looked into your claim of not recieving your deposit.
Apearently the problems are with our accounts payable department.

They have assured us they will get this rectified and a check sent out to you as soon as possible.
Please eccept our apologies for this delay.
