The Galway Co-op sued Printz and Patternz located in Rotterdam, New York. The background reflects that the Galway Co-op gave Printz and Patternz over $6,500.00 to design three web sites.  We initially dealt with the company's owner and then was dealing with their web designer Chris Todd. After months and months of excuses we did not have one web site that was live and controlled by us. After several conversations with the company's owner and Chris Todd we demanded our money back. In return the company's owner and Chris Todd created a smear campaign by posting on various web sites untruths regarding the history of our business dealings.  We filed suit in Schenectady Supreme Court and received a judgement against Printz and Patternz for over $8,000.00. During a deposition whereby the company's owner was deposed, he admitted that he handled the matter wrong, but also stated that his hands were tied to some extent because Chris Todd decided which web sites would be completed, or not. He went on to say the it was Chris Todd that always had control of Galway Co-op's domain names and he refused to relinquish them.  Although Printz and Patternz had a sub-contractor relationship with Chris Todd on paper, they split the profits 50/50 and the record shows they acted as partners with Chris Todd (CT Graphics) controling the web sites and domains.  At this time CT Graphics has a live web site showcaseing web sites that were developed through Printz and Patternz when Chris Todd and Printz and Patternz were partners.  The owner of Printz and Patternz accuses Chris Todd of manipulating company emails and other internet related crimes that ultimately causes the business to close. Despite the fact the Galway Co-op was given a judgement againt Printz and Patternz, we feel the Chris Todd is equally couplable. Emails between Chris Todd and the owner of Printz and Patternz tell a story of greed and deception. We will be discussing the matter with law enforcement and weighing the possibility judicial intervention.
