Crown Toyota of Lawrence, Ks "BEWARE" Lawrence, Kansas
we purchased a vehicle from this company in Sept 2011 and they never disclosed the vehicle had been wrecked to my wife who was purchasing it while i was out of town. my wife had our two kids with her and they were fast talking and only showed her half of the "carfax", that did not show any accidents. They had her sign the front bottom of the carfax and didn't show her the 2nd page with the "accident" information.
we took the vehicle to trade it for a truck recently (Aug 2012) because the "Crown Toyota" vehicle wouldn't pull a good sized camper we were wanting to purchase and the truck dealership informed us our vehicle had been wrecked. We pulled out our purchasing paperwork and there was no carfax included. my wife went back to the dealership and requested a copy of "ALL" paperwork in the file and they did not give her a copy of the carfax.
my wife went back to the dealership and spoke to the general manager about the incident and them non-disclosing the accident information. he threw a big fit and started yelling at my wife saying they told her about the accident information and escorted her off the property, acting like a little kid. My wife said our attorney would be contacting them and he said, "My attorney will be contacting YOU!! You want his name and number right now?"
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM...IF U DO, MAKE SURE THEY SHOW YOU THE ENTIRE CARFAX!! LOOK AT ALL THE PAGE NUMBERS!! WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN!!
