This Company runs a Fake Job offer for Shipping from home on Craigslist.com. Does a reference check. Then ships packages to your home that you forward and promises to pay $2400 a month. Then this Company steals your bank info and never pays you. They show a office in New York City. Sets you up to ship packages via UPS, FED EX and USPS Which are Legit.

Your Personal Office is Legit. Packages are Legit (Probably Someone stolen info). Paul Morrison CrowdShipment.com is a Fake Employment Scam. You Will Never Get Paid By This Company. Website Info as Follows... WHAT IS THE COMPANY'S BUSINESS? We are the team of professionals passionate about making the world a better place for everyone.

The company has been operating for about 10 years as a small, family-owned business to help people in the United States and Canada (and recently we are expanding towards Australia) act as a small warehouse for foreign customers of local online retailers. This is quite a competitive industry where we want to make international deliveries cheaper for people in Europe, Asia and Africa by shipping items in LTC format (Less Than Container, when shipping in bulk is traditionally cheaper than shipping a single box).

Now we are a mid-sized entity with about 100 employees across the world, and everything is managed with a web based system, including most critical processes like hiring, payroll, planning, etc. We prefer not to rent multiple local offices, and we think it is better to invest into people instead. Since there are several departments that take part in purchasing and shipping items for our customers, your career path in our Company could be very useful if you are interested in further advancement in ecommerce and/or delivery businesses.

WHAT IS MY JOB ALL ABOUT? Your job of being a part of the Domestic Shipping Department is to act as a micro warehouse and forward the inventory for our customers from Purchasing Department to our International Shipping Department where the items are sorted and shipped to 43 countries where our clients are from.

As you know, the position we are offering is a home based job that lets you stay with your family and have your schedule as comfortable as possible. You are going to be in Domestic Shipping Team to receive inventory for our clients from Purchasing Team and ship the packs to International Shipping Team where trained people prepare the packs for customs handling all paperwork and corresponding fees. WHY YOU NEED MIDDLEMEN? ISN'T IT CHEAPER TO SHIP DIRECTLY?

We have three departments in every country we operate: Purchasing Dept places orders looking for best deals available online and offline. Upon placing orders, the items purchased are shipped directly to someone in Domestic Shipping Dept to have the purchased item delivered. As far the managers at Purchasing Dept should be specializing in placing orders only, they cannot accept packages - this is why we need one more team to receive packages.

International Shipping Dept is responsible for customs/export paperwork to have the packages shipped to customers as LTC format (less than container - to make it cheaper to ship in bulk). We assign certain product categories to people at Domestic Shipping (5 categories out of 50 per person) so that Intl Shipping would receive packages from you already sorted out. This makes it easier for them to prepare everything.

They receive about 100 packages per day, and unfortunately, they should also specialize in one operation. This is one more reason we have Domestic Shipping Dept. Domestic Shipping team receives the merchandize from the shops and forwards it to Intl Shipping Dept. This is where we want you to specialize. We also aggressively invest into small courier companies overseas to make sure that last mile delivery in countries where our customers live would be reliable.

These are small family companies of 3-5 people and 1-2 cars that deliver the products to every single town no matter how hard it is to reach the destination. SHOULD I PAY FOR SHIPPING OR PACKAGING? Shipping expenses are all prepaid by the company. There is no repackaging, so no need to worry about packaging material. However, if the pack comes in a damaged box, we might ask you to buy a new box, and your expenses are reimbursed against any receipt presented.

In 99,999% of cases packages are delivered in near to perfect condition. HOW SOON WILL I START RECEIVING PACKAGES? It might take about 5-7 business days from the day you receive member area credentials and the first package is delivered. Please keep checking your panel once a day to make sure you will not miss any package delivery info. WHAT IF I SEE THE PACKAGE IN THE PANEL BUT IT IS STILL NOT HERE? Please email us indicating a 5 digit number from the panel (it is in the first column in your Packages tab of your Member area), we will take care of it as soon as possible.

HOW DO YOU INFORM ME ON ARRIVING PACKAGES? We will be emailing you once a package is assigned for you, therefore please keep checking your email every day. If you see a package in the panel, you can follow the link from the Inbound tracking ID and find out when the package is planned for delivery and where it is now. I HAVE RECEIVED THE FIRST PACKAGE, WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?

Once you receive the package, please log into the member area, check for inbound tracking ID on the package received and the package records in the panel. If they match, please click on the status in the last column in Packages tab to change it from Arrives soon to Received. I HAVE UPDATED THE PACKAGE STATUS TO RECEIVED. NOW WHAT? Within 48 hrs a prepaid postal label will be generated for this package, and you will notice a new status - Ready for shipping.

Please make sure to print the label, and bring the package with a new label (all pages no matter how many are there) to local office of your national Carrier (in the USA - USPS, in Canada - Canada Post, in Australia - AU Post, etc) or to a local office of any other courier given in the label (Fedex, UPS, TNT). Submit the package and the label to postal clerk and he or she will accept the package. Sometimes you can ask for package pickup. I HAVE SHIPPED THE PACKAGE. NOW WHAT?

Upon getting the package shipped please sign into your member area again and change the status of this package from Ready for shipping to Shipped. I GOT A PACKAGE, BUT I DO NOT SEE IT IN MY PANEL. WHY? It means you received an unlisted package. Please log in to the member area and click on button to report on unlisted pack. Enter brief description of the contents, a courier company with inbound tracking ID, and into the field for Customer please put the name from the label.

We will prepare a label for this package within 48 hrs. I GOT MANY PACKAGES, BUT ONLY ONE HAS A LABEL HERE. Please do not wait till you have all the labels for all of the packages in your panel. Act on first come-first out basis, download and print available labels for packages in your possession, ship the packages as soon as you can. CLERK AT THE POST OFFICE SAYS THE LABEL HAS INSUFFICIENT AMOUNT If at post office you find out that weight on the label is less than the actual weight of the package, and this comes out to be a reason for NOT shipping the package, please email us on this issue.

We will issue a new label as soon as possible. I SEE THE PACKAGES CAN HAVE SEVERAL STATUSES IN THE PANEL. WHY? We assign four statuses to packages: Arrives soon - a package was shipped to you, in 3-5 business days should be delivered. This status is a default one. Received - this status confirms that Employee has received a package and we should issue a prepaid label for further shipping. This is the status you should set as soon as you get the package.

Ready for shipping - this status informs you that the label is ready and you should print out the label and ship the package. Take a look into the second column under INBOUND tracking details you will notice that OUTBOUND tracking ID will also appear. So, there in outbound section, right after tracking number you will see a small icon - click on that icon and a label gets downloaded; print the label for further use. Usually a label is issued within 48 hrs after Employee sets Received status in the panel.

This status is set automatically when we issue a label. Shipped - a package is shipped by Employee. This status is set by Employee after the package is shipped. So, you have only two statuses you could apply for packages - Received and Shipped. SHOULD I REMOVE THE LABEL THAT CAME WITH THE PACKAGE? Please do not forget to remove the old label from the package- sometimes both new and old labels appear on different sides of the boxes confusing delivery person, taking extra time or even losing the package. I GOT A PACKAGE NOT WITH MY NAME ON IT. WHY?

If you notice that the package comes with your address but someone else's name, please accept the package - the person on the label is our employee from Purchasing Dept. They indicate different Shipping and Billing addresses as the packages must be delivered to you though payment is made from their address. However, sometimes they are limited to only one name on the payment form when they pay for the items being purchased. It is absolutely standard situation, simply accept the package and update its status in the panel.

I AM GOING TO TRAVEL OR MOVE. WILL THIS AFFECT MY EMPLOYMENT? If you are planning to travel, you should have someone at home to accept the packages instead of you. Of course, if this is for a few days. If this is for a week or more, or you are moving to a new address please let me know two weeks prior your leave. Also before moving please let me know what you new address is going to be and whether and for how long you will have an access to your old address.

WHAT MAKES ME A SUCCESSFUL SHIPPING MANAGER? CHECK THE PANEL EVERY DAY: daily panel check not to miss a package or a label when it is ready TALK TO YOUR SUPERVISOR: email and/or phone communication whenever you have a question SHIP ASAP: shipping the packages promptly with labels issued WHEN AND HOW WILL I BE PAID? Since the first month is a probation period that lasts 30 days, please count 30 days from the first package delivered - this is your first payday. Please make sure that all of the packages received within probation should be shipped before you receive your pay.

You can choose any payment method or media - Pay Pal, direct deposit, Western Union or Money Gram. Please email me on your payment preferences if you have not emailed your Payment form yet. Starting from the second month of your employment we will be transferring your pay every two weeks. CAN I MAKE MORE MONEY WITH MORE PACKAGES? Since we cannot guarantee the exact amount of packages to be delivered to you, we decided to offer a flat rate payments to everyone in this Department rather than making package basis payments.

We had problems when people used to receive 1 or 10 packages, but it was not what they expected from us. This is the reason for a flat rate. No matter how many you receive, there will never be more than 30 packages per month. WILL YOU BE NOTIFYING ME ON MY TASKS? HOW? Yes, you will be receiving emails on a range of activities to be made over the packages. Please carefully check and read emails from us. WHAT IF MY LEASING OFFICE (APARTMENT COMPLEX OFFICE) DOES NOT ALLOW ME TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGES FROM YOU?

Due to specifics of our business model, orders on behalf of our customers are placed by managers at Purchasing Dept; this is why the packages might be shipped to someone from that department but still the boxes have your address as a recipient. Mostly - if you live in an apartment complex - your leasing office may disallow receiving packages with names of other people than yours, and it will result in losing the packages. If this is your case please before receiving the first package inform us and provide your parents or other family members address.

Of course, some sort of address confirmation will be required. However, the main goal is to make sure the packages will be received, and will be in a safe place. HOW TO AVOID APPLYING WRONG LABELS ON THE PACKAGES When you have more than one package ready to be shipped, please be careful while applying the mailing labels. %p Every single package should be shipped with its own label.

For training purposes please imagine your have 2 packages - ID 2500 and ID 5000, and 2 mailing labels - ML2500 for the package ID 2500 and ML5000 for the package ID 5000. Typical mistakes you should avoid Shipping the package ID 2500 with the label ML5000 OR shipping the package ID 5000 with the label ML2500 Shipping both packages with ML2500 OR ML5000 How you can avoid such problems You can write a package ID on the box while you are updating its status in your dashboard.

For example, writing ID 2500 or ID 5000 would let you know later what certain packages you are dealing with. Also you can print and place one mailing label at a time.
