I traded in an older  car 3 yrs ago to purchanse a newer used one and in 16 months of having it  LITERALLY monthly had to get it fixed.   was going through CREDIT ACCEPTANCE = which charged monthly tons more than was written in the signing sheets  for the car .. and after one year the car getting fixed monthly - every technician kept saying there are too many parts wrong into the car. ..and I got the Credit Acceptance people contacted and they told me they will get it - AND 3 months of  the car not working just sitting in the street  they finally got someone to pick it up -- and took it to another state - and One month before they took it they owned it... Atheir paper work from them last year  - I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHO AND WHY KEEP CALLING ME TELLING ME TO CONTACT CREDIT ACCEPTANCE - ! When I have had a better car now - and NOT ANY OF THEIR LYING for money!

They are probably collecting on the deficiency balance

You seem very confused between ownership of the vehicle, maintenance of the vehicle and the loan to purchase the vehicle. First thing to do is pull out your loan that you signed for Credit Acceptance + all the letters they have sent to you.  Check your public records to see if Credit Acceptance has a judgment against you. A judgment is pretty typical when you have had a car repossessed.  You can't just leave a car sitting on the side of the street without expecting someone to come repo the vehicle. Have you pulled your credit report and public records to see the judgment?  You need to take care of business now so it doesn't haunt you long term. Remember the loan doesn't disappear just because they repossessed it.

Sorry, but contrary to your "Sub-Prime" entitlement mentality, loans don't work that way.

When you bought the car, you probably bought it "As-Is".  Meaning that ANYTHING that is wrong with the car it is YOUR responsibiity.  There is NOTHING in your loan agreement that stated that you could just stop paying on your loan if the car needed repairs...regardless of how many repairs it was.

When you failed to pay on the loan they legally reposesed it.  It doesn't matter if it took them 3 days or 3 months.  When they reposessed it they will sell the car at auction but YOU are still responsible for the balance of the loan.  It doesn't matter if you have the car or not.

So yes, they will continue to call.  They also may eventually sue you in court and the judge will tell you the exact same thing...right before he puts a judgement against you for the balance of the loan and attorney fees.

Judging from your "writing skills", it is doubtful you have the capacity to understand anything.  You were placed with this subprime deadbeat lender because YOU failed to pay other creditors on time. True to form and just like clockwork, YOU don't pay them either.  (Isn't that a surprise!)  Giving the car back is a REPO and DOES NOT end YOUR contractual liability.  That's why their bill collectors are calling you.  Eventually they wil, sue you.  There's NOTHING illegal going on, just the consequences YOU brought on YOURSELF for being a serial deadbeat.
