I had a keeper policy with Country Companies when my car was totaled. I had a brand new car in three days. I was completely satisfied. In Illinois, the Illinois Division of Insurance is at: http://www.ins.state.il.us/Main/consumer.htm Click on: File a complaint. They will investigate insurance problems in the state of Illinois. There are complaint forms online for different types of insurance. I contacted them when I had problems getting a medical bill paid by my health insurance provider. A bill that had been outstanding for a year was paid in 30 days because of their intervention. I recommend contacting the Division of Insurance about this issue and see what they have to say about it. Good luck and let us know what they say.

I too have Country Companies as my insurance company. I too had an accident in which my car was totalled. I too had the Keeper Policy. Unlike the author of the original complaint, I had a wonderful experience with Country Companies and the Keeper Policy. I was given a brand new car and I did a collateral transfer, so I only have to pay off my original loan, not the amount of the new car. So, I feel I got a better deal than any other insurance company can offer. For the cost of my deductible, I was given a new car at no additional cost to me and at no additional payments. And my claims person was wonderful. She came to the dealership with me and made everything so smooth. BRAVO Country Companies!
