They placed a Craigslist ad that states: Our office gave away a lot of these as prizes at a convention last month & we have some left over, 6 to be exact. These are called All Access Companion Passes, meaning you can buy 1 full fare airline ticket domestic or international, & get a 2nd ticket free on the same flight. You can use these to fly anywhere, but must spend a certain amount for the 1st ticket. The first ticket for US travel has to be worth $379 in order to get the 2nd one free. If you go to Hawaii, Mexico or Canada it's got to be worth $695, & for international travel it's $1199.

These retail for $300 each, we are just asking $100 each firm. Can meet in person or email these to you - they have validation codes that we would be happy to send you in order to verify they are legit. There is a one time booking fee of $50 required to use these & put them in your name. Right now they have not been used by anyone & have never been in anyone's name.

Please read this website for exact terms before requesting info: http://www.CompanionAirfareForYou.com.

If the ad is here, I have at least 1 left! May discount if you buy more than 2 but otherwise firm on price.

I thoroughly reviewed the web site and emailed Anne several times, asking specific questions,  and emailed my phone number to her, asking her to contact me.  She continued to use email and I obtained rather vague answers.  Anne was very convincing in her emails and provided me with a code that allowed me to obtain the voucher, stating in her email  that she trusted me completely.  I got sucked in by the convincing email and paid the $50 voucher transfer fee.

I then was directed to a NON- SECURE web site that requested my name, address, credit card number and the CRV code on the back of the web site. I didn't trust this site, and called the 800 number on the web site, which is directed to Anne's cell phone voice mail.  I emailed her again and told her that I was very angry about being scammed and have not heard back from her. I'll be contacting PayPal requesting a refund and have contacted my credit card company, informing them of this scam.
