Coordinators Failure to Timely Pay for Services Rendered Temecula California
Coordinators LLC, or Inc as they sometimes call themselves, arranged via email and printable file enclosres and fax to obtain my services to perform two visual merchandising audits at JC Penny stores shoe departments in the Chicago area during late March 2007. The exact subject was how Skechers was displayed, how much inventory, what styles were in demand, which lagged, etc.. The client accepted the reports, and Mr. Gilbert Cecchetini, and Laura Williams, his scheduler/supervisor, promised and repormised to pay me via email and via phone. The deadline was to be sixty days.
It is now September 3,2007, and I have not been paid any of the roughly $80 owed, including tolls.
It is rumored, as one can read on a website that seems somehow affiliated with this firm via one "Kimber," who claims to have been a scheduler and four year veteran of its' secret shopping work, but not confirmed by the principals, that this firm is in reorganization. Certainly, whomever is responsible for this site is an advocate for them. The principals have not returned any of my emails or polite calls since June 2007.
If this rumor is true, then I invite all other creditors to contact me in order to present our claims for wages (as this work seems to fit the IRS definition of wages for employment rather than independant services) as a class A claim against the reorganization entity to the Trustee. This will have to be settled before the operators operate this or any alter ego of the firm again.
Absent that, the authorities are, of course, open to theories such as wire fraud, labor fraud, conspiracy to defraud, theft of services, RICO. It seems there is a documented history of paying late if at all, and a lot of disingenuous excuses, evasions, and outright misdirections.
