Continential Warranty Corporation Does not live up to promises-RIPOFF!!!! Hollywood California
I have had nothing but trouble from this company. I had to give my credit card information to the gentlemen on the phone before I could receive any paperwork. I should have known this company was shady after that.
My first claim was a nightmare and I couldn't get my car for two days because the dealership needed their money and customer service at Continential Warranty would not return the dealership's call for verification.
I paid the warranty off early and they misapplied the payment causing havic for me and my husband.
Now, that we have sold the car, they are telling me that I can't have a refund of the prorated amount. I have e-mails from customer service and a gentleman named Gary from another department telling me that I am entitled to a refund. I have waited for two months and when I finally start agressively pursuing it, they tell me that I am not entitled to a refund due to too many claims. Isn't that what the warranty is there for?? If anyone has had this problem or if an attorney has experienced this type of fraud, please post it or e-mail me.
