Continental Communities - Mosby's Point Shooting in park, gang graffiti everywhere, mngt. NEVER there, office always locked, CRIMINALS to boot, ask around!! Florence Kentucky
If you are searching for information on Mosby's Point in Florence, Kentucky because you would like a nice place to live, please do not be fooled!!! Please take 30 minutes to ask a few random people you may see in the park, and find out about the management. You will NOT find a single person in there who is okay with them or their practices. Even if you happen to run into the man who lives in the park but works for the park as well, HE will even tell you to RUNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! Please listen to me, and to all those who warn you against. I really wish there was something we could all do collectively to bring Continental Communities down, but unfortunately they seem to be pretty powerful.
In Mosby's Point, they have hired children to run the park, and they are constantly gone on "vacation" because their family runs a park in another state. They have an emergency cell phone, but it's long distance to call it (it's from Michigan) and they don't answer it anyway.
There was recently a shooting in the park, which was featured on the news. Google Mosby's Point shooting and you'll find it. There is crime galore, and lots of horrible things going on there. People there want to leave, but most just cannot.
Please avoid this park, along with any other continental communities park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know people that live there. They've experienced drug dealers, hillbilly thugs thinking they run the place (maybe they
do), ineffective management that is NEVER in the office, owners that
could not care less, and the highest lot rent around. What more could
you want? Oh yeah, and don't waste your time calling the Boone Co.
Sheriff, if they didn't see it, it didn't happen. They will be kind enough to take a
report though and then watch you from down the road with binoculars to see if your wearing your seat belt.

The claims made in this complaint are untrue and unfounded! We will not even begin to dignify these with a response!
The woman who wrote this was a disgruntled resident that was evicted from our community due to not complying with our community guidelines. Proof that we do strictly enforce our guidelines.
As for the supposed shooting, it did in fact take place, but NOT in our community. It actually occurred in our neighboring community, Hickory Hills owned by Holiday Homes. It is however still being reported to have happened on our property by mis-informed media outlets.
We welcome you to come into our community and take a stroll. Please speak with our resident's, they will tell you how wonderful it is to live in our community!
