Recently I found a mysterious $79.95 charge on my Aspire Visa credit card. I complained to Aspire but they said I must contact the company, an outfit called consumerinfo.com.
This company's representative said that I had signed up online for their "service" last year and so had been charged for two years! They refused to refund my money and Aspire would not help either.
I never signed up for any service, nor do I have any idea of who these people are. I complained to the BBB in Southern California, whose report on this company contains many similar complaints (url: http://www.bbbsouthland.org/howtoreport.html)
