This company came to my door to offer their services to me with the idea that i would be paying less than i was at the time for energy and gas. After they explained that with a one year contract i would have the first 90 days as a grace period , i signed up in August . Supposedly my 90 day grace period was thru November, except i did not receive my first bill UNTIL November.
After my grace period was over, i could finally compare my bill with the previous service, only to find that the service Constellation offered came out more EXPENSIVE than what i was paying with my previous service ! After seeing this, i wanted to cancel the service, but now i couldnt because they have a $300 cancellation fee, now i am stuck with a one year contract that doesnt even expire in August, when i signed up, but in October for gas and November for electricity plus when I cancel it will take 2 more months to process. I called constellation and they will be able to lower the rate but I have to sign in another year contract!!
Since nobody in their customer service department could help me out with this issue, i called the Board of Public Utilities Division of Customer Service, whom could not help me either because Constellation is not regulated by them. This company is a scam completely ! I am completely unsatisfied with their service and customer service. I would not recommend to anybody else. If someone know how to stop this company I'll be glad to join them!!!!!
