Computer Renaissance $3000 Touch Computer Rip-Off (#4047)

This is a corrected version of my report.

I am writing about a Computer Renaissance $3000 Touch Computer rip-off, purchased for my daughter in Dec.1997 with a three year warranty at Computer Renaissance Charlottetown Prince Edward Island Canada. They sell computers for Touch Company, supercom.ca.

This computer was suppose to be new, I don't believe it ever was new. Because all I did in three years was Having to argue with Stephen, and demand for several of my Computers belongings that I didn't realize were missing until after the computer was paid for and I had the computer for a period of time. It took months even as long as a year of demanding and arguing before I got most of my belongings, even today I don't have all of my computers belongings.

I also had to argue for three years because several things needed repairs but couldn't be repaired.

One example was my CD ROM It couldn't be repaired in 1997 and still isn't repaired today. It was like having a computer without a CD ROM for three years and couldn't be repaired. There was a scrapeing fan that kept us from turning our computer on that was suppose to repaired three times, this same fan still scrapes today. Those several missing parts and several unrepairable problems kept myself and my daughter from using her computer properly for weeks, months, and even today our computer remains unusable because of been so unrepairable so many times, even while its under warranty.

Be warned, there is also no online support if any is needed.

I also had to argue about my Monitor with a serious problem, I was told it wasn't anything serious until the monitor give out, by that time my Monitors warranty was expired.

I separately paid $475 to have a CD Burner installed in my Computer that needed repairs shortly after, that couldn't even be repaired, even dough I had to pay for the repairs even while under warranty. This is only a few of several more problems not even mentioned. There are others also had the same kind of problems and Rip-Offs, they wont return to Computer Renaissance or buy another Touch Computer.

This unsatisfied and very poor dishonest service went on to long until I couldn't take any more. I was repeatedly giving the run around. So I went to the Police and Consumers, Consumers give me Touch Company's address, 4011 14th Avenue, Markham, Ontario, L3K 0Z9. (Email,supercom.ca) I sent a letter through Post Office to Touch Company in Ontario and explained everything that happened since 1997. A Richard guy from supercom.ca phoned me from 888 570 4231 he was the management for Touch Company. We spoke for

about 20 min. As we spoke I felt it was useless talking to Richard. He had no understanding and refused to believe anything that I was saying that happened. Richard said he phoned Computer Renaissance, Computer Renaissance told Richard they done all they could do for my Touch computer, and it was always repaired when I took it home. And me with this unrepairable and unusable Touch Computer working so bad since Dec 1997.

Then Richard tells me he was from Prince Edward Island and he knew the guys at Computer Renaissance, even knew their names. He said they were a great bunch of guys and they wouldn't do the things that I said they were doing. Then we were both in disagreement that caused more trouble. Our conversation ended with me saying that I have no choice but to somehow save enough money and buy another Computer for my daughter, because of her

needing a computer that works more properly and is repairable. Richard said good luck with your next computer.

Finally I emailed [email protected], I explained everything about Richard and Computer Renaissance, john never responded to my email. Computer Renaissance is the cause, and made things so unbearable for myself and my daughter for three years, that should never have happened if Computer Renaissance had to be honest and if Tim Jenkins and Stephen had to run their business honestly as they was suppose to.

Both Computer Renaissance and Touch Company are very dishonest and they are both Rip-offs, they lie and cheat to make a buck and I hope everyone can see how dishonest they both are. I warn anyone from P.E.I. that reads this report, you better watch out for Tim Jenkins at Computer Renaissance, because he will lie if he could make and save Touch Company a few bucks.

As for Stephen, he also will lie and is an expert in his words to Rip people off. I would have had to write at least 2 to 3 pages to explain everything, there is so much more that I never even mentioned.
