I had purchased a laptop computer from CompUSA. I purchased an extended warranty. After the warranty expired I purchased another warranty for a year that cost $249.00. Soon after I purchased the extended warranty CompUSA closed all there stores in PA. I called the service line to obtain service on my laptop. This call was made on 2/5/2008. The customer service rep told me that a box would be sent to my home to send them the laptop to be fixed.

I have called several times after because I have not received the box. One person told me that they were very backed up because of all of the stores closing in PA. It is now 3/20 and I still do not have the box to send the computer in to get fixed. Every time you call it is at least an hour wait to obtain service. When you do get someone there is no resolution. DO NOT BUY ANY EXTENDED WARRANTIES. THEY WANT YOU MONEY BUT DO NOT WANT TO SERVICE YOU. If I ever do receive the box to send in my laptop what are the chances that it will fixed within the next year.
